kids and 55 extra pounds later, I knew I needed to make some major changes if I
wanted to be able to play with my kids and prevent them from having the same
health issues I've battled. On my 35th birthday I resolved to be back
to my pre-baby weight by my 36th birthday (or as close as possible in
a year). I did a major diet overhaul (swapped junk food for fresh fruits and
veggies), took daily walks to and from the park with the kiddos and tried to be
as active as possible and a good role model for my family. I promised from the
start I was going to do it the right way - I even
registered for my first 5K on my birthday weekend as some inspiration to stick
with it. Now just 2 weeks shy of my 36th birthday, I'm only 8 pounds
away from my goal! I'm SO proud of all I have accomplished and absolutely love
my new healthy lifestyle. The Health Club membership would be the perfect
birthday present and help me maintain my success and keep my new healthy life on
track!
